paper made from Banana Leaves & stem, Cardamum
Leaves & stems, Grapevine Leaves, Sugarcane
waste and Rice Parali(Horse food).
I started my paper making in April 2001 when I
attended a workshop in an Art Gallery on the
Mall Road Lahore where Mr. Shinji Tajima, a well
known Japanese educationist/writer introduced
the technique of Hand made paper in Pakistan.
After that I got interested in the simplicity of
the technique and started at home. It was quite
a lot of fun and hard work. But the joy of
creating your own paper was worth it. Then I
used this paper for making Cards, Gift
Envelopes, Calendars and Gift Tags.
I work from home. I am 62 years old and am
enjoying a small success. I am willing to take
orders from all over the world.
